We get asked all the time: "How do I keep my Gi from shrinking and smelling?"

1. The Cold Rule: Always wash your Gi in cold water. Heat is the enemy of the cotton fibers and will shrink your Gi by two sizes before you know it.

2. Vinegar Power: Add half a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle. It’s a natural disinfectant that kills the "gym funk" without damaging the fabric.

3. Never Dryer: Hang dry your Gi. The high heat of a dryer ruins the collar and makes the fabric brittle.
